To talk about LOF WINES is to talk about people rooted to the land; people with their own style and discretion. People whose life gravitates around the land, the vineyard and the grape. VILOF is their flagship. A juicy red wine with intense aromas of fresh fruit, earthy notes and spicy touches. In the mouth it is young, fresh and light. A very supple and easy to drink wine that leaves a very good aftertaste.

• Geographical indication: D.O. Bierzo
• Alcohol: 12,5 %
• Vineyard: Old vineyards from various sites selected from the family estates.
• Soil type: Clay loam soils with pebbles.
• Climate: Continental Mediterranean with Atlantic influence, characterised by extreme temperature differences between winter and summer.
• Processing method: The grapes from each of the estates are destemmed and vinified separately in 3,000-litre tanks through spontaneous fermentation with yeasts typical of the Mencía grape variety. Once the alcoholic fermentation is completed, the wine from each tank is aged separately in 225-litre French oak barrels for 12 months.
