Description

"A very versatile Mencia".
Akilia is a young winery from Bierzo, and Mario Rovira, its manager, is a magician who works wonders with Mencía grapes such as Akilia Villa San Lorenzo red wine. This Bierzo is surprising for its marked varietal character in a place that makes it unique. The San Lorenzo area is much cooler and produces modern, clean, expressive and very pleasant wines, with aromas reminiscent of violets, clove and black fruit. It is balanced, mineral and with a perfectly integrated acidity. A versatile, gastronomic and very pleasant wine.
