Description
"A Mencia of many carats".
Akilia Villarín red is a plot wine. A juicy red wine with fruity aromas, floral notes of roses and hints of oak. In the mouth it is fresh, light and tasty. It shows a soft acidity, elegant tannins and well-integrated oak. The vineyard is located in the foothills of the Montes Aquilianos, imposing massifs that surprised the Romans when they arrived in Bierzo because they also found a large presence of eagles (aquilias), hence the name of the winery Akilia.
